Peace out, winter.

I've been completely absent from our blog for over a month now. And I have a lot of good reasons why.

We weren't particularly sad to see the longest February in existence go merrily on its way. We spent most of last month rotating the symptoms of strep throat and every winter virus from one Zuill to the next. Lots of cuddling in bed and PBS kids got us through the storm.

Thankfully, just as we're finally all starting to feel better, the most wonderful time of year is just around the corner. Our living room is currently host to at least 50 plants- tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, cantaloupe all stretching up toward the warmth of their grow lights. It's a suspicious looking scene for sure. Baseball practices have begun. The grass might have gotten mowed on the last day of February. Henry and I are organizing supplies for our big March camping adventure. And we've finally started seeing neighborhood scenes that look like this. We are at our best when we get to go outside to run, jump and chase bubbles.

It's probably not shocking to learn that we are kept fairly entertained, however, even when the cold weather keeps us inside.

We've also been busy taking trips down to Pulaski so that we could radiate at Pappy.

The last month has introduced us to fantastic new Charlie fashion trends and saw our last Friday ice cream at College Grove Grocery.

Henry and I got to have a couple of fun Mommy/Henry days last month as well. We went to the trampoline park for mother/son night with his elementary school. And even better, we went roller skating to celebrate Ava's birthday! I was transported right back to the Pulaski skating rink. {Couples skate! cue:: "You're the Inspiration" by Chicago"!}

Speaking of Henry, have you ever seen a snaggle-toothed face more adorable than this?

He was equally as adorable all decked out for the 100th day of school and Wacky Wednesday. When he was all dressed up like an old man for the 100th day he looked at himself in the mirror and proclaimed "I look just like Daddy!". Hard to argue with that.

We had to take our sweet boy to the doctor yesterday. He woke up with a fever and a horribly swollen lymph node behind his left ear. Darn strep. Thankfully he felt well enough for a quick lunch out with his girls. We were both so happy to have his company.

Next week we will officially see the first day of Spring. Can't wait to share what we get into once that begins! Happy March!
