Once again here I am trying to play catchup on the blog. Fall kept us hopping as usual! Once Henry's birthday party was done we moved straight into Halloween festivities. Henry is SO into Harry Potter these days that it left little question about what would be a good theme for family costumes. Cutest little Harry Potter and tiny witch ever.
Mr. Zuill knocked it out of the park with his costume, although his beard was bigger than he was! When we were trick-or-treating he kept accidentally stepping on toddlers- "I can't see because of my beard!".
My friend Tauna loaned me a Bellatrix LeStrange costume. I thought Charlie might be a little freaked out by my make-up but apparently I didn't look too different than usual, ha!
Holidays and school breaks always bring lots of needed time with friends. And slumber parties.
We've also had a lot of time in the kitchen lately, whether learning how to make fish & chips with Daddy or getting to play in the sink.
Obviously a big part of fall activities is getting ready for Christmas. If you ask me, 2 1/2 is the perfect age at Christmas. Charlie has been beyond excited, Henry too. What an exciting day when "Shelf the Elf" arrived.
I think that catches us up for now! We have more time with family coming up for Christmas so I'm sure we'll have things to share about that soon. Happy holidays!
